About Me

Kaz Mogi, a musician with a passion for drums and taiko, has made his mark on major productions like Netflix's Avatar the Last Airbender, Ghost of Tsushima, and PlayStation's upcoming Ghost of Yotei. With a strong foundation from his degrees at Musician's Institute and California State University Long Beach, he has been playing drums since 1994. His rhythmic journey has led him to esteemed groups like Taikoproject, East LA Taiko, and The Los Angeles Taiko Collective. Kaz has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most iconic venues in Los Angeles, including the LA Coliseum, Crypto.com Arena, and the Peacock Theater for the 2024 Game Awards.
