Kaz Mogi is a session drummer and taiko specialist known for delivering cinematic percussion for major media scores. His recording credits include PlayStation’s Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei, and Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender. A Musicians Institute and CSULB alumnus with over 30 years of experience, Kaz blends technical discipline with the versatile artistry required for modern soundtracks.

Beyond the studio, he performs with premier ensembles like TAIKOPROJECT and the LA Taiko Collective at iconic venues ranging from the LA Coliseum to the 2024 Game Awards at the Peacock Theater.
